The RVH Foundation had a GOAL for our 2025-2026 fiscal year; to raise $500,000.00 for our #EQUIPRVH project which would include the replacement of all of the Dialysis treatment chairs! We are very excited to announce that we have not only MET that goal but we surpassed it by $25,000.00.
This week, the RVH Foundation presented a cheque to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital for $525,139.37! The following essential medical equipment has been purchased:
6 Spot monitors and stands for Dialysis/Biomec Unit
15 Medical recliners for Dialysis/Biomec Unit
1 Ultrasound Unit for the Operating Room (Surgical)
1 Central Monitor for Medical Surgical Unit/ICU
1 XPREZZON Monitor for Emergency Department/Ambulatory Care
1 Footcare Exam Table for Emergency Department/Ambulatory Care
6 Sleep Diagnostic Acquisition Units for Sleep Lab
2 Patient beds for Continuing Care Unit
2 Air Mattresses for Continuing Care Unit
1 Pulmonary Function Testing Unit for Respiratory Unit/Stress Testing
TOTAL COST = $525,139.37!
In order to meet our goal and have the funds to purchase this essential medical equipment we need a commitment not only from our Foundation Board of Directors and Foundation Team, but it also the incredible support of our COMMUNITY! We could not do what we do without the financial support of our patients, families and community members. Capital Equipment is not funded by the government so it is our job as the charitable arm of the Renfrew Victoria Hospital to raise the funds to purchase the equipment our medical team needs to provide the best in care, close to home.
